Liturgical Resources

The Old Catholic Missal and Ritual, 1909

The first Old Catholic liturgical compendium in the English language, the 1909 Missal and Ritual of Bishop Mathew is of historical and spiritual importance for Old Catholics today.  This work is even still in use amongst many Old Catholics.

The Celebration of the Eucharist in the Catholic Diocese of the Old Catholics in Germany, 1995

For the liturgical use drafted by the Liturgical Commission and edited by the Bishop and Standing Committee

The present publication is the official altar book of the Old Catholic Diocese in Germany. This church has been in full communion with the Anglican Communion since the Bonn Agreement in 1931. It is therefore fitting that the book which is used in the parishes of this diocese - and in many Roman Catholic or Lutheran parishes in Germany, in convents, and in Old Catholic parishes in other countries - should be made available in an English version to bishops, liturgists, and other interested people in the Anglican Communion and beyond.  The text was translated by the Revd. Dr. Thaddeus A. Schnitker.

Oremus Liturgical Library

Collections of liturgical resources ranging from worldwide Anglican resources to various Old Catholic collections.  As the Anglican Communion and the Utrecht Union are in full communion, there is much overlap in liturgical resources.  It is, therefore, especially appropriate that English-speaking Old Catholics make use of the wealth of liturgical resources the Anglican tradition has to offer.
